Individual therapy is a unique opportunity to focus on yourself, particularly your strengths and areas of growth and change. Some issues that can be addressed in individual therapy include anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, low self-esteem, identity confusion, and interpersonal conflict.
We will identify treatment goals and we will work together to make progress towards these goals. Mutually agreed upon tasks may be assigned in between sessions to encourage movement towards your goals. Sessions typically last 45 minutes and take place once a week. However, some issues may warrant more frequent (i.e, twice weekly) or longer sessions. I am happy to discuss these options after our initial consultation.
